If so, how?
Got a 14 plate Partner Tepee and the manual I have suggests it is present by default but it doesn't have it as there is no hill hold.
So I'm wondering if it is something present that can be activated via the diagnostics like the cruise control can be?
I'm also assuming the Tepee and Multispace are identical apart from the logos, which is why I'm posting here (I can't find a Tepee user group!).
Cheers.

You're fine here with your Tepee. Same car. That function worked from the get go on mine - nothing to do. Might check to see if there are some error codes.

Hmm, ta...so what do you do to make it work? How steep does the slope need to be?
It might not actually be present.

Same as 3rensho here, you do need to seem to put a little extra pressure on the brake pedal (only a little) and a slight slope seems to activate mine.

Thanks. I think I've found a correct handbook for my car online. If so, it suggests this only works with ESC, which appears to have a button to deactivate it - which I don't have so I'm guessing I don't have ESC and therefore not hill start.

I have hill start assist on my Berlingo van, but like you say, I have the ESC switch on the dash (Electronic Stability Control I think it stands for).

I don't have ESC and the hill assist works fine on mine.

Hmm, I think I need to find a very steep hill.
Does it activate automatically or do you need to be in gear or in neutral? Handbrake on or off?
Ta.

It needn't be a steep hill. Mine activates when on a hill and I stop with the foot brake (clutch depressed). Car is generally in gear and hand brake is off. Remove foot from brake pedal and car sits still for 2-3 seconds (never timed it) before rolling back.

Just found this on line
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/859171...ml?page=53 is this the same as your manual? If so it does state that "HILL START ASSIST this system (also called HHC - Hill Holder Control), linked to the dynamic stability control system," do you have the dynamic stability control system fitted?
