Car stereo nicking hasn't been rife for years. Hell, some research earlier today showed it's not even rife up where I'm originally from, which is rough as arseholes! So rough parts of it were a police no-go area when I was a kid in the 80s!

Its the one man crime waves where I live that are the problem. No, the stereo theft statistics are nothing like they were in the 80's and 90's, but its still a big problem here. Over the last month there has been such a crime wave, and everyone knows who it is. If you have an original stereo they wont bother, but if they can make a buck they will break in and lift the stereo, and anything else that they can sell on ( hence my original post! fgs).
