Where can I find a cheap 12V socket and heater cable..
#1
Well hi there...

I'm new to this forum. And with the Berlingo I've just bought I think i'll be here a lot lol.

I paid a mere £750 for a 2001 1.9D Multispace with 80,000 miles.

Problems are....

12V socket is corroded and collapsed

The dial to change the heater position (screen, feet etc) was jammed. The cable seems to be siezed.

The drivers door lock doesn't work and the passenger one is tricky (i've bought new locks on Ebay).

The steering is all over the place. I'm getting that checked tomorrow at my local garage and will prob replace shocks, wishbones and tie rods etc myself using my Haynes. (I'm a motorcycle mechanic by trade).

WELL..... Can anyone tell me where I can buy a new heater cable and a 12v socket from. The ones on ebay look very cheap and generic.

Thanks in advance. Ted

Hello & welcome.I would think the heater cable is a dealer part only. For good quality sockets I use the Bosch ones, always make a good connection & last forever. But you will need their plugs as well.
