Gear lever/ stick extension

Does anyone know the thread size of the gear lever so i can fit a gear lever extension?

No idea but would that extension then not start interfering with other bits of the car (or at least your hand might) when you move it into gear? The length of the gearstick seems to be ok for me but it has so much throw to get it into gear - previous car was a Fiesta and that appears to have a short-shift gearstick fitted unlike the Tepee...I keep skelping the radio with my hand when going into first/third and fifth if I'm attempting to change quickly.

Sorry, havering on now...I can't help with the thread sizes but I suspect any extension would make it easier to hit other bits of the interior when changing.
