Valve for heater matrix? Berlingo 2002 1.4 with ac
#1
Hi

Ok so a different question about the heater matrix

Just waiting on some heater hoses as my plastic elbow cracked as mentioned in a another post

Question
Does the heater matrix have a valve?
Or is there always hot flowing water thru the matrix?

If there isn't a valve what stops the heat entering the cabin
When you don't want it

Please be gentle I'm a women learning lol

Yes, there's always water circulating through the heater matrix.

I once wrote a rather comprehensive post on the cooling system on the 1.4i.

Some of it might be of interest.

When you don't want hot air entering the cabin a flap operated by a cable closes the vent stopping hot air flow and allowing cool air to enter.
So where does this bit go then ?
