Clutch and Flywheel Question
#1
Hello,

Have a feeling my thrust bearing is on its way out so was going to change the clutch.

Have been phoning round the dealer is saying it's dual mass but everywhere else is saying it's solid. Anyone on here know what it is?? Big price difference so want to buy the correct part.

It's a 13 plate 1.6 hdi berlingo. Dv6.

Cheers Dan

Hello,

Thanks for the reply's Been doing some digging and most of the information that i'm getting it's seem's mine is a Solid Mass Flywheel, Don't understand why the dealer is saying that it is a dual mass.

Looking at this website with my Vin Number it is also saying its a Solid Mass.

So found this one on ebay so think i'll go with that.

Ive worked as a mechanic in a few main dealers in the past and most of the parts staff were useless - us mechanics had to tell them their job!
