Hi Folks,
I've recently purchased my 2nd Berlingo, another Mk1 on an 02 plate, one problem i can't solve is, The Airbag Light does not light up at all, I know it should light up when you turn ignition on, & then go off after appx 5 seconds, but nothing happens at all, i've checked the wiring under the seat & all seems ok, has anyone had this problem before ? Any information greatly appreciated.
Mk1, 1.9D, Admiral Blue, 51 Plate.

You could try disconnecting the battery , with ignition off/engine not running, and leave for a couple of minutes before re-connecting and see if anything re-sets? If there is a passenger airbag that disables with your key, you could try disabling it, as the light should then be permanently on when the ignition is on, which, if it does come on, might at least show that the light itself is OK.

Might be worth not sitting behind the airbag when you first switch the ignition on, just in case.........!
Good luck!
