Hello everybody
#1
Hi,

I am 20 years old and from Holland. So please forgive any typing mistakes.

It might be swearing in church but; sinds a few weeks I drive a 2003 Peugeot Partner 1.9d and as she has some gremlins I started looking arround and found this great forum.

And the van is growing on me, i like the design and despite her being darn slow I really enjoy driving it. So this week I started with repairs, cleaning and checking things that worry me.

For any questions I have I will open a new thread in the right forum sections.

Sincerly,

Erik

Hi Erik and welcome. Your Peugeot Partner should consider herself at home here.

Welcome Erik Smile

I too am new and I to have recently acquired a " darn slow " 2003 1.9d M Space Desire which has s couple of known issues to be sorted and I'm having the steel to.s replaced with 15" dark carbon/graphite grey 20+ multi spoke alloys / keeping it sane and a comfy ride with 196x55x15's anything thinner than 55's and the ride quality would be severely impairedSad!!!
Also going to make s custom fitted passenger side bed with a loo underneath at tailgate end Wink!!!!

It takes quite a lot to be chased away from this forum, and well...

I'm currently driving a Suzuki Baleno(FWD edition... ) while fixing my Beloved Berlingo, and if I asked for help with it, I would probably get it. (It has the TD version of your 1.9 engine... )

The reason the older Berlingos and Partners are such fun to drive is that they're really a SMALL car in disguise, so they handle so much better than you would expect.

Thanks.

Apart from the turning circle Smile  its indeed driving like a small car. It is so easy to drive that i prefer it over most newer vans I drove.

Its a pretty smooth ride and I love how "mechanical" it is. You have a lot of feeling with the car, the gearbox really makes me feel when it wants to me to change gear, and when it doesnt. The steering is really light, but still gives me that "full in control" feeling that i miss in newer cars.
