Rear storage box.
#1
Hi Folks, It's my first post on the forum and hopefully someone can answer my question.
I have a 16 plate XTR and really miss the drop down storage box which my previous Berlingo (Modutop version) had. Is anyone able to tell me if the box can be fitted into my current model. I know there is the holes in the roof lining for the internal roof bars and wondered whether they could be utilised to fit the storage box.
Anyone any experience of doing this ?
Cheers all,

To illustrate this easier I've taken a little video to show you what the rear Modutop storage box looks like when installed in a B9. It does look like it uses the rear internal roofbar / dog guard fitting points, however there is a bracket on front where the tailgate is for the latch opening, and there is also the bracket for holding the cords to stop the storage box dropping down too far.

Thanks so much for the reply. The video is really useful and clearly shows that the rear roofbar holes are used but with an angled type hinge instead of the snap over cover. I hadn't thought of the front handle bracket or cord bracket and will have a good look to see if there is a way to fit them to my vehicle. I may see if Citroen sell the whole arrangement and whether they know if it can be retrofitted. I almost wish I hadn't changed my 08 plate VTR with its super useful drop down box as my 16 plate XTR doesn't have it and I have just discovered that it only has an under seat storage drawer on the drivers side and there is no torch in the boot !!!
Cheers again for the Video.
