So my horn has started to blow constantly while driving, it may go off after stopping but will come back on quickly when I pull off again. I cant get it to go off, beat the crap out of the steering and still no good.
The problem seems to be the wiring at the back of the air bag, like many other threads here I thought it was an earth. I drilled a new hole in the steering wheel and added a screw to hold the earth in place.
Worked for 2 hours !.
Now I have gone through every thread on this forum regarding horns and when I had my air bag out today it dawned on me there seems to be a difference in my wiring.
Have a look at the images I have linked to, can you tell me if there should be a 3rd wire coming from the center of the steering column.

All other images I have seen have 3 wires, I'm assuming one for horn, one for airbag and another.
If you look in image 3 of the back of the air bag you'll see a spade connector for the horn live (on the right) and another right at the top, should there be a wire connected to this ?.
If all else fails can I put in a 2nd hand clock spring and wiring without too much trouble and without the help of Mr Laptop in Citroen Dealer or what would be my best option. Not sure how those wires coming from the clock spring are connected.
Thanks
