Realistically, in terms of quality and features, I'm hoping for something half way between a Boot Jump (which looks pretty flash) and a 'Space Camper' module (which looks to me like a few plywood boards knocked together).
Before I start I just wondered if anyone had any plans, however basic, that they might share.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi.
I took the rear seats out as I never use them.
I insulated the rear floor with some 5mm foam-backed type reflectix stuff, the kind they use as thermal insulation for laminate flooring. I got it for free off a mate. I bought six interlocking foam floor mats (£9 from B&Q) and used five of them to go on top of the shiny stuff. Both materials are easy to cut and trim with scissors and a Stanley knife.
I bought three 64L Really Useful Boxes from B&Q for £48. These fit almost perfectly along the length of the floor space. I built a small box that sits in the rear passenger footwell from scrap plywood. This fills the remaining space up to the front seat which is fully slid and tilted forward. This gives me a level bed platform of just about 5 feet ten inches and plenty of tough, waterproof storage.
I've topped these with a reflectix type camping mat (£1 B&M Bargains end of last season) and I'll be making window covers from two other mats I purchased at the same time. On top of the mat I've placed two self-inflating single camping mats I had donated to me.
So so far I have a bed, storage, soft yet durable insulated flooring and privacy screening for an outlay of £60. I'll be using my trusty Citroen Modubox fitted in position as cooker/food storage and camp kitchen/occasional table.. I made a lid out of scrap plywood that fits snugly over the top.
The beauty of this set-up is that it's not fitted to the vehicle so it doesn't affect my insurance as a modification or change of use and I can turf it all out and use my bus as a van for hauling my DJ gear and doing car boot sales when necessary. During the daytime the bed boxes can be stacked or shuffled around as needed and the passenger seat returned to a comfortable position.

I only thing I could suggest is to take the inside dimensions and see if they are the same as on the plans, the only other problem could be the height when you fold down the rear seats
I now have a 2015 Grand Picasso + 365 which I have also made a Boot Camp, I just returned from Spain where I saw a 2019 Berlingo XL with all the "Bells & Whistles" it looked great

Hi Mark Hello I will be getting a Berlingo multispacer XTR soon, we were looking at a jump boot for it , looking at it and thinking that maybe there was an inexpensive way to make one . I have looked for plans on the web but with no luck, so any help would be fantastic, also I want to fit a Leisure Battery. I would like to know were would be the best place to fit that, will be used for short trips and overnight stops I do understand that I will have to fit a split charge relay how did you get on with the one that you made Cheers Phill

Hi there - I have these plans and they worked great for me. I also bought a fancier unit (two berlingos!) from erigal campers which is much smarter, but actually much the same thing. When I built my unit I just bought a large sheet of ply from B&Q and asked them to cut it into sections on their wall saw (super accurate saw and free service at bigger branches) - after that it was pretty much just home assembly with glue and screw.

Note: you will need a extra box panel if you fit table
Plan is well made, thanks very much for the upload! Building it now almost according this for my 2003 Berlingo Family. I bough 12 mm playwood, then from your plan calculated you must be using 15 mm. Hope it we´ill feel sturdy enough. Did box and toppannel 4. Will make smaller wholes for top panel 3 so it could be sitable even without thick cuchons, if I find the energy, or leave it solid. Your hinge solution with the slim pannel between, the way it folds, is pretty smart. Bought slim and long, so called, piano hinges. They are week but so long and so many screws they might just work good and dosnt disturb the flatness of bed much. Thniking hard on best solution for support between panel and folded rear seat. Will post some pics later. Cheers.
