Fog lamp glass needed - 53 plate M Space
#1
Hi all

Does anyone happen to have a spare glass for the tiny little fog lamps built into the front bumper of the 2003 1.9D M Space Desire going spare ?

Thought I'd try on here before forking out for a new one ️!!! Smile

TIA

Mark

It's true you cannot get the glass separately. There are 2 types and the changeover was around 2005, so yours is probably the earlier type. I may have one of these somewhere (if I can find it!). It would be helpful if you could post a photo of the front and back (including the part number sticker). The bulb type also changed. I think the earlier lamp used H1 and the later one H11. I had some difficulty finding a replacement when I ran over a very dead pheasant at night. Scrappers think all the units are the same - they do look alike until you put them side by side. I ended up buying the wrong one, hence I have a spare somewhere.

Valuable info Mike

Wouldn't it be brilliant if there was a bit of software that could scan all our posts with these gems and pick them out for the gems they are and construct s "gems" manual rather than a French styled robotic manual for our blingos !

I shall get out a bit later and attempt to find part numbers etc Smile

Considering how far set back into the bumpers she'll they are I'm surprised they ever do anything except cause annoyance to be cleaned !!!

Thanks chaps Smile))

I  wish I had known ECP sell them. But be careful. There are definitely H1 and H11 bulb fitments out there and they are not compatible. You would have to change the wiring connector also. Best to take the old one with you. They really do all look the same, but are not. Mine is a 2005 Multispace Desire with H11 bulb. The replacement I originally bought had a H1 bulb.
