Triangle on the dash

The car is a B9 90bhp 1.6Hdi engine. This triangle remains on dash after starting the engine and the rev counter does not go beyond 3500rpm. How do I resolve this?

You will need to get a diagnostic check done on the car & find out what the problem is with the car.
