[Steering & Suspension] Identify steering rack

Hi.

I have searched a lot on the wide internet about how to identify the correct steering rack for my 2005 Berlingo Multispace 2.0hdi, but without any luck.

Does anybody here know how i get the correct one for my car?

Welcome MGT to the forum. As a first guess I'd take the VIN to a dealer and get the info. I'm sure others will be along with more ideas.

Local proper motor factors will sort you out ............. not halfords etc !

I have exactly the same problem (along with needing a new rear axle). What was the direct rack for your model? I have a 2005 hdi 2.0 multispace forte.

Hello, I  bought a 2005 hdi Berlingo in July, took it in fora service and it turns out the MOT was dodgy...needs new rear axle, steering rack...gonna cost me more than I paid for it in the first place...steering rack is a 12mm mount push in type of this helps. Not sure weather to go with the work or scrap it and buy a new car
