Radio/Stereo
#1
Hi All,

New Berlingo owner here  Big Grin , was wondering about the radio/stereo in my Berlingo Multispace XTR BlueHDI 100, with ignition off no radio, have to put the ignition on (without starting the engine) for it to come on. Not had to do this on any previous car, it would just stay on without ignition for a set amount of time.

Any advice welcome.

Aftermarktet or stock radio?

My original radio did come on with the ignition off, but it would die after 30 minutes due to that bloody eco mode. Now I have a aftermarket radio wich doesnt work with the ignition off, but it does stay on when eco mode kicks in Smile

Gotta love french electronics Smile

See an earlier post of mine. If you have a new one with the iPad screen, there is nothing you can do except leave ignition on for radio. Citroen were contacted, they can't see any problem. If you use stop start, beware it will suddenly start, causing you to spill your coffee ?

Hi Thanks for the info, it's the iPad screen one so I guess I'm stuck. Does it do any damage with the ignition left on apart from potentially drain the battery ??

Thanks,

Mark

They say it should not cause any problems.

Why would it cause problems? The battery isnt going to drain much faster or anything.
