Modutop latch repair

Any ideas how I can fix the plastic latch that holds the modutop overhead lid compartment closed,
the one above the rear seats the latch doesn't hold lid closed and flips open.
I tried filing the tab to give it bit more edge but no help,was thinking of gluing. a piece of plastic on it to make the tab bigger.
phoned citroen they want £209 pounds for the whole lid assembly they only sell in pairs,about quarter of value of vehicle I think repair would be more appropriate.
