[Engine] crankshaft oil seal leaking

Hi I have a 1998 birlingo with a 1.9 d engine, i have just had fitted bottom pulley and new belts two weeks ago now just noticed an oil leak AA man said it looks like the crankshaft oil seal , is this a big job as iv'e  just spent fortune at my Citroen guy?

Yes and no Mick, easy to change the oil seal but the cambelt must be removed to do it

Oh great thanks Polar for the encouraging news,

the citroen guy did all the work on the cam belt etc so Ill just have to let him do it, since he  did all the work i also have a clatter coming from the tensioner he said it was a little vibration and it goes away when you press the accelerator just slightly but its noisy so maybe he can sort it at the same time. I just hope it's not too expensive as its 19 years old and iv'e just had the front suspension upgraded.

does the bottom pulley have to be removed again?

Yes the pulley must come off
