Berlingo in the Alps - updated

Just taken my Berlingo to the Alps for the summer - thought I'd post a few pics as I go along.
750 miles to get here - a perfect 50 MPG so far.

French Alps near to Morzine

Today took the Berlingo up the remote Ubine Valley - met a Swiss one here too.

Actually, out here there are loads of Berlingos and they are liked by many younger people too, who deck them out for skiing, mountaineering and kayaking.

There are lots of Berlingo's in Switzerland. Always see three or four just when out for a run to the shops. Where is the Ubine valley?? Never heard of it. Somewhere in the Wallis?

Ubine is north of Morzine / South of Lac Le Man - in the Haute Chablais, quite near to St. Gingolph on border with Switzerland where the GR5 alpine walking route starts.  Fantastic place; unspoiled, no ski lifts - just the odd Berlingo!
