Sleeping comfortably in your Berlingo?
#1
One night in the Lakes. I can either buy a one man tent (I own a 6-8man one already) and this is a one off. Any tips?

I'm not going to construct a okay floor etc! But I may be able to borrow a single mattress.

Any tips? Is it comfy? Of course I'll have the side windows ajar at the back

I sleep in the back of my L2 van regularly when I'm greater than 150 miles from home, in order to pick up backloads the next day. As a 6 footer, even the L2 at 193cm payload length is too short, so I have removed the "double" passenger seat, and have made a large hatch in the bulkhead, through which I can shove my head. The passenger seat has been replaced by a storage unit which I made for my camping/washing gear, and which doubles up as a platform for my pillow. If you intend to sleep in the back of any van, it's a good idea to line the interior of the metal roof with thin, dense foam to prevent interior condensation forming from your breathing/sweating. A roof hatch for ventilation is a good idea, but I get by, with just having both cab windows open half an inch, and I have wind deflectors fitted on those windows to keep rain out.

if its the car version, if you hav the 3 split seats, i found if you push the front two seats all the way forward, two of the rear seats will sit in the rear footwell, just turn them 180 degrees so that the back rest is facing the front of the car.

3rd one you can just place in the front out the way.
makes it level of sorts.
