anybody know what the cords are called that attach to spigot on back seat

please can anybody identify what these parts are called? they attach the catch at bottom of back seat in my 2004 multispace? if thread in wrong place please moce and thanks in advance. edd

Sorry I don't understand what cords. Can you supply a photo?

thank you trevor, here is photo. the cord clips into matal back of seat and then onto release mechanism under the seat.

Sorry I am stumped with them, maybe someone else here will know what they are called.

Ah you mean those easily broken thingamagiggy things ... I presume your have broken and you want new ones ?? Best see the main dealer if that is the case they won't be expensive.

Mine broke and I DIY repaired mine - permanently !

thats reminded me theres one broken in ours ... its come off the seat back , will have to have a play with some string when its stopped raining

Just to go one further the reason mine broke was my own fault !! so in the spirit of helping others ......

I'd fitted a really lovely thick pile carpet in the rear cab for my Labradors and all was good until I needed to fold the seats down - the thick carpet held the seat higher than normal so the latch release cord was placed under greater strain when lifting the securing hook.
