The silver one looks good,those bars help avoid little knocks to the bodywork as well as looking good.

The black one is a little too much 'Boy-Racer' for me,but that's probably just my age!

The gold one looks ghastly! I have a MkIII XTR and with the additional factory fitted pieces on the sills,it looks much better than that one.
Mind you,mine is black,I'm not a great lover of gold cars,very blingy!
