[Engine] Won't start
#1
1.9D DW8 Multispace, engine turns but won't start, checked fuel cut off button, immobilised the fuel cut off Solenoid by removing spring and fuel closure nipple, cleaned fuel filter housing, Gravity fed diesel to filter and pumped fuel from there, removed all air, fuel coming out of inlet banjo side of the Fuel injection pump and also from the return banjo on the F.I.P, finally undone injector pipes to see if any fuel coming from there and nothing, car still turns over but won't start, anyone any ideas.

is the cam belt still good?

did you have the throttle fully open when trying to bleed the injectors?

try a wiff of easystart , might run long enough to pull the fuel through.

Blockage in the pump if you've whipped out the stop solenoid 'stop' as it were, or a defective fuel pump, either way it should run with no stop solenoid, easy start may get a stubborn one going as it may need the extra revs to purge the pump, but may also be a knackered pump, hard to say without seeing the vehicle
