Just 1ntroducing myself. I had a 2003 Berlingo 2.0 HDI for 8 yrs which was magic my daughter is running it now and I have bought a 59 MK3 1.6 HDI XTR. I am a bit concerned about the rear tyre wear. Car has only done 6K miles but will ramp up next year when I go camping.
Do we have any clout with Citroen?

My 09 XTR is now on 30,000 miles, still on the original set of Michelin Primacys with 4mm of tread left on all including spare. I have regularly swapped the spare between rear tyres & at some point I swapped fronts to rear as fronts were wearing more than rears. I think spare should be regularly swapped to avoid sidewall damage from prolonged storage in carrier.
I don't brake too hard or accelerate too quick but I do tow a caravan about 4,000 miles pa, so not exactly light use. I do pay attention to tyre pressures tho. Note that there is a large difference in rear tyre pressure, unladen & fully laden. I run fronts at specified 2.4bar, rears at 2.5bar for general use & the fully laden 3.2bar when towing caravan.
& of course hallo & welcome to the forum. :woop:

Hello Camper, welcome to the forum.
Citroen aren't affiliated with us in any way. They apparently came to us for some feedback a few months back.
