I have a Berlingo B9. Most of the time it starts and runs first time, however over the last week sometime when I turn the key I get a single click and nothing else. If I try again, it starts fine.
Any ideas what it could be? Should I start with the Battery? Starter motor or something else.? Is there a easy way to elimate>?

Sounds like the starter is on its way out (or to be precise the solenoid on the starter motor) im afraid it will just get worse until it lets you down, replace the starter for a recon one is the cheapest option.

Polar is probably right, but it won't hurt to check the battery connections & earthing points on the engine.

I get this very occasionally and I just undo the live connection on the battery and then reconnect it and it is OK then for months
