Berlingo mods
#1
Good afternoon everybody
This is my first time on the forum so please be patient with me lol.
I'm after a new steering wheel for my 2007 mk1 berlingo van 1.6 hdi 75bhp,  I believe a Peugeot 206 steering wheel will fit straight in - and also I would like a bigger turbo and injectors, does anybody know of any what will fit straight in and give me a bit more power
Thanks berlingoFox.

Hi Fox and welcome.

Im not 100% sure on the steering wheel but i think you are correct it will fit your late MK1.

You are better going for a remap on the power issue these new diesels have electronic injectors and its not as simple as just swapping them over like older indirect diesels, anyway you shouldn't need to with a remap. I believe you can fit the 110 turbo but again you will need it remapping.

Hi polar,

Would I get a slight increase in power if I was to put a 110 turbo on without having it remapped or will it need the remap,
Is the 110 turbo the GT1544v - is this the one I'll need,
Sorry if I sound a bit simple it's the first time I'm doing a project on the vehicle
Also does anybody have any ideas on what front leather seats would fit straight in

Fox im not sure on the turbo model but if you don't have it remapped you are asking for trouble.

Please dont take this the wrong way but you need to take it to a specialist remapping firm for the best advice. In your case it will be money well spent - these new HDI diesels can be remapped with great results while still keeping the reliability.
