Bluetooth phone
#1
Question from lo-tec old bloke... My £15 unsmartphone has bluetooth which I have enabled. My 6mnth old Berlingo Look appears to have handsfree phone facility. I go into the bluetooth bit & it searches for device. It finds my phone & then the screen of my phone asks for BT code. So question is where do I find this code?

The code must be just numbers as when anything is inputted on phone it comes up as stars as passcodes usually do. With the new vehicle handbook came a card with several codes on that I was told to keep safe as it is vehicle id etc. There is only one code on this card that is all numbers so I put that into my phone, press ok & then the car screen asks for that number to be inputted. That I do but the phone does not connect. So presumably wrong number? I know I'm missing summat rather simple here.  Blush

Its worth trying 12345, I've seen more than one device use it.

Worth trying 0000 or 1111.
I'm sure mine was one of those.

Cheers all. 00000 did the job. Working great now. I did not even realise the car had hands free until I noticed the little crossed out mobile phone symbol.  Big Grin

Another question as nobody has phoned me yet. What happens when phone rings while driving? Do I press left hand stalk top to answer & to ring off afterwards. I tested the phone by ringing somebody while parked but obviously one cannot touch phone while driving so presumably with £15 phone I cannot make outgoing calls as that would mean picking up phone?
