Did you change the keyfob battery or the car battery?

The yellow key symbol means it can't read the chip in the key, the reason I ask about the remote key is you wouldn't be the first person to drop the chip out when changing the remote battery Wink

If it was the car battery your too early for a bsi reset to do anything as you dont have a bsi, I'd start by plugging it in and seeing what the immobiliser can see i.e. Can it see the transponder from the key and go from there!

id be inclined to take a feed from the power side of the reversing light wsitch on the top of the gearbox, its an ignition fed supply so comes on on the key,  and connect it to the fuel shut off solenoid on the injection pump.   car should then start and stop on the key.
youll still have the prettty light on the dash but xmas is coming.
