Routing a cable from the roof to the stereo
#1
I've got a DAB aerial that is held on the roof by a magnet. It's got a cable that I need to route from the roof to the back of the stereo.

What's the best way to do this?

I can connect it, but the cable is getting trapped in the door. Is there a gap somewhere I can route the cable? I'd like to run it down the passenger door pillar trim, then behind the dash or glove box. How do I remove the dash? I have some plastic tools to remove clips etc.

Any help greatly received.

Thanks

Thanks doofer. I got the a-pillar trim off easy enough but like you say, it's getting the cable from the outside, in.

I wonder if there's a route the cable could pass under the bonnet; I could run the cable easily enough from roof, down the gutter bit next to the windscreen.

Only other option is via boot door. There are some cables from the rear lights but I can't get in the duct and it's a long run to the front of the dash. Not sure it's got enough cable.

I did have the existing aerial off but I could't work a way through there either so I'm stuck at the moment.

Parhaps I'll try the bonnet route tomorrow. Anyone had any experience of doing this?
