[Warning Light] Cruise control (again), yes again, but working (1.6hdi no FAP/DPF, 57reg)

I completely sympathize with you, I was the same, my right ankle was constantly aching after 2h driving.
The easiest option is to get one cheap kmh cluster from europe somewhere, from the Netherlands is perfect as one can communicate in English, unless of course one is versed in other languages. Also a very cheap automatic pug 206 cluster in order to swap the underlays. Upa-usb programmer is all that is needed to convert the km->miles or kmh->mph in the CC LCD, no need to desolder. The downside is that delivery is a bit expensive from Europe as the item is bulky and you would need to buy the pug 206 cluster.

I now have CC working on my 2008 1.6HDi Berlingo, after replacing the original speedo with the correct version for CC, adding the stalk & configuring via Lexia. Functionality is very similar to the 2.0, minimum speed is about 25MPH and will only work in 4th or 5th.

Many thanks to saskak for working all this out.

Hi,

Just to confirm that it is not possible to change only eprom in order to have CC
in non CC cluster. I have ordered CC cluster form Netherland and have a play with it.
Changed epprom and tried many configuration but did not succeeded.
Now I am 100% sure that there is another part of the program inside main MCU.

MARELLI
M59 11.9

The problem is that I can't find data sheet for MCU.
There are 4 pins near MCU , probably used for reading/writing, looks like simple Tx/Rx serial connection.
Without data sheet it is nearly impossible to connect and read out content.
If reading is even possible, not locked etc...

On the other hand I have working CC without need for android phone +OBD dongle+Torque app.
Finally after 6 years  Tongue

Best regards,
