Yet another newbie. From Wales

Hullo everyone.
Just bought a used Multispace, 2008 XTR diesel. Not new to Citroens, but my last was a BX, a Xantia before that, and a DS21 before that. So some catching up to do.

I will be using this one as a runaround second car, and transport for my disabled wife, with probably a bit of overnighting thrown in. Looking forward to learning, and maybe contributing also.

Excellent car. I was coming back from our place on Gozo, and partway through France I foolishly stopped at a zebra crossing for a guy carrying many metres of bread. The froggie who had been following me for miles decided not to apply his brakes. 

Wham! He bounced me over the crossing. Steam came from his busted radiator, but when I looked at the back of my Xantia l could not see any damage. I had a tow hitch.

When I got back to Wales, my son who runs a bodyshop examined the car. He said, 'Dad - you've been squozed!' Sure enough, the whole car had been imperceptibly reshaped, so that the rear wheel arches had more of a bulge than the manufacturers intended. It took a trained eye to see it. I used it for a couple more years like that - no paint damage - then sold it.
