I lost my van :(
#1
Today due to company policy, I had to swap my Partner for a 2008 Fiorino (Same as a Nemo)

Its a pretty much full option with a 1.3 Multi jet engine, and im not sure what to think of it yet. The cabin is a heck of a lot smaller then a Berlingo and has pretty much no storage space. Im glad with the fully adjustable seat and steeringwheel but it will take a while for it gets comfortable (Im 1,98 meters tall sadly)

The big issue at the moment I have with the engine, the powercurve stinks. There is no power at all under 2000 rpm, and then at 2000 it flies off. Then you change gear, all power drops, rpm goes to 2000 and then it flies off again. Maybe it takes some getting used to but it was the first time ever I drove myself sick  Confused . And the gearleaver is quit sticky, it doesnt snap into gear but needs some forcing.

Again I got a van with some bugs, like the dashboard lights dont work, the gearknob and sleeve are worn and the seats are ripped so I may end up becomming a Nemo expert.

Anybody else here driving a Nemo/Fiorino/Bipper? (what on earth was the idea after naming a car "Bipper")

I run a Panda with the 1.3 Multijet engine. As you say, there is very little torque below 2000 revs.
I have improved this by electronically deleting the egr valve (you can blank them off instead, but they are almost impossible to get to), adding a Bluespark chip and removing the exhaust back box.
The engine is now more responsive, with useful torque from around 1700 revs.
Compared to the Berlingo hdi engine, the Fiat unit is sluggish, but sips fuel.

I may end up getting some work done. Its also not the best at starting, luckely I have a decent battery and a strong startermotor

I've never actually driven one but my friend took a nemo in part exchange and it really does run on fresh air.

Been a few days now and I must say its not as fuel efficient as I thought. In city I manage between 16 and 18 kilometers per liter, but on the highway driving on the legal limit of 130kmh it barly does 13km per liter. Thats worse then my old 1.9d.

Its fast though, Fiat claims the topspeed is about 154kmh. I managed 165kmh and it was still going. I did drain nearly half the fueltank in just two hours :/
