Dropping 1.9d engine one side
#1
Hi
Is it an easy job to drop the 1.9d xud engine one side to gain easy access to the belt and tensioner?  Its a bugger to get into

Which belt ??

Anyway assuming timing belt I find there is sufficient room simply by removing the top engine mountings on the belt side of the engine. Yes it is snug and you may perhaps need to shorten an allen key but certainly doable, raising and lowering the engine on a jack as needed helps a lot.

Going beyond this sounds like a lot of work.
