Hi
I believe I have corroded or loose wires connecting to my starter. My starter sometimes starts sometimes not... there is a clicking sound but the engine doesn't turn over... sometimes starts right away. Once the engine starts there's no problem.
So I want to check the wiring, but I don't know where the starter motor is located. Can anybody post a diagram with the location of the starter motor? (Not a wiring diagram please, just the location of and access to the starter)
Thanks
Manny

It would be wise to get the manual polar has mentioned.
Your starter motor is at the front of the engine at the right hand side.

Type " Haynes manual " into the search box at the top of the page, look at the 4th thread in the search results.

The starter motor is as said at the front of the engine, it is easy to get to requiring a spanner for the terminals and an allen key to remove the motor.
Before doing any work testing the battery voltage with a meter may be prudent as would checking for voltage drop on the starter circuit - it pinpoints any high resistance if present.

Just take care of the radiator when swinging the tools / removing the motor as it is easily damaged, use a piece of cardboard in front if you need to.
