new van nerves..

  I going to be in the market for a new van soon and have a 1.9d DW8B 59 'lingo, I was considering a l2 h1 or similar, I need reasonable load space, I see the VW Caddy has a slightly shorter load area which is no good for me.... Something with low miles is best.

  Is there something I should avoid ? I see the 8v motor has fewer issues than 16v one. Is it just a case of concentrating on a good service history ? I do 25k miles a year and need something reliable, I am capable of doing my own repairs. How long do you expect from a clutch ? that sort of thing..

I do between 25 and 30k a year and have the L1 850 on a 65 plate - you're only over the other side of the county and you're welcome to come and have a nose about

It's all about service history apparently, my 16v partner has no dpf which may be a good thing as far as the engine health is concerned.
