Unless I'm reading the blurb wrong, it looks like this will only run on Windows XP.

All my gear has passed XP by long ago, so this may be no good to me.

If I had an XP based laptop, I would need to carry it around in the car if I had a fault show up on a journey.

Correct me if I'm wrong here guys.

It says
Software requires at least Intel Celeron/Pentium III 400 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 50MB free HDD space and USB
1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended) and Microsoft Windows 98 SR2/2000/XP with the latest service pack installed.

But more to the point is says Discontinued on the first page

Just quoting from the small print on the add, it states:

'1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended) and Microsoft Windows 98 SR2/2000/XP with the latest service pack installed.'

Whether this means it will not work on later Windows, I don't know. I'm not that tech.

I have an iCarsoft MB2 which I use with great success on my Merc. I may buy the Citroen equivalent, but I'm waiting till I get to know my Berlingo better before deciding.

My iCarsoft MB2 is a Mercedes dedicated scanner, but I have used it on my Berlingo to clear a few generic faults and it has worked well. But obviously it will not delve as deep as the proper tool.

When I get to know the B9 better I will get the right tool for the job.

Something fishy there.

The cheap scanner kit originally posted by Jimbo has just the same pictures and write-up as the Lexia kit you link to.
