I have now sorted out my battery problem. Went to go to the shops this morning and it is as flat as a kipper, so I now have the RAC coming to fit a new one. I think I will get him to check the alternator output while he is here just to make sure it is ok, mind you it has never shown any signs that there is problem.

I would have thought it better to put your post on the end of the original thread rather than start a new thread.

My apologies I never meant to offend anyone, I’m sure a moderator can move the post if necessary

You haven't offended anyone, I just though it would make a lot more sense to put the conclusion of your battery story on the end of your other thread about your battery that's all

No one is offended Trev, it gave an opportunity for more battery related puns. Don't come the old acid doofer
So where does this bit go then ?

Anyway the man arrived in good time checked the battery and told me is was showing only 9 violts, I was not shocked by that..
Next time I have any doubts about a batterry I shall get the lead out and get it sorted right away..
He fitted a new one, tested the system and it reports over 14v charging so with luck this will be the end of my tale.
I have had Berlingos for 14 years now and this is the first time I have ever had any fault or been let down by one.
