B9 Camper Build with Step by Step Photos
#71
(24-10-2018, 08:54 PM)Gravity Wrote:  I have made a few more detail mods to this camper since my last post, after a number of camping trips - mostly just interior organization. I have also bought new cooking kit, which fits the burner much better and is more efficient.

What has turned out to be one of the most practical features of my design is the facility for the right hand box (looking from the rear) to fold up against the right hand side, giving far more leg room and a better choice of seating positions.  I didn't realise, when I built it, how versatile this one feature would be. If i build another one I will certainly make it with a similar facility.

I'm going to get a winter's use out of this camper just to enjoy my labours and then - regrettably, due to a family death -  I am going to sell it as a complete package, car and all the gear shown in this long thread. So watch this space!

Sorry to hear that. I would just like to say thanks for the really helpful thread and good luck with the sale and future projects.

Going, going ... gone.

Sad, but life moves on, doesn't it?
I'll miss my B9. I had a lot of fun with it, including the camper build which turned out so successful.
Next project? Not sure yet.

Yes a thanks from me too Gravity, your design and build info has been inspiring.
I am getting ready to do a design based loosely on yours too, so I'll document it when this happens!

Appreciate the feedback, guys - and thank you for your kind words.
I miss the B9 already, and would like to build another.

If i do, not only will this forum be the first to know, but I have plenty of ideas that will make the next one better than the first.

For some reason, the forum will not let me post in the 'For Sale' section (keep getting error messages), so I'm posting it here instead - as follows:
PAIR OF FRONT B9 SEATS - FREE.
Having a clearout. I changed the front seats in my B9 camper, and the original pair of grey patterned seats are now going begging - FREE. They are complete with arms and floor mounting brackets.
Collect from SA48, Wales, near Lampeter.
If they haven't gone by the end of February, the Council will be the lucky owners, because I am heading to France in March.
So if you want them, they're yours for nothing, but must be collected this month (February).
Text me for details: 07484841991.
