I know you can on xsara wandering if this can be done on berlingo ,

If there is indeed a Berlingo breather and the access is there then why not ??
Once removed it is after all just a hole in the casting.

That's what I do it makes things a lot easier.

I’d still pull the plug out of the end of the box so you know the level is correct

You can also fill it through the reverse switch hole if you wish as it’s a little larger for shoving the nozzle in
