Hi i am brand new to this so pls excuse the inevitable errors...the bottom hose on my 1.9 berlingo 1998 just popped loose..not sure if its intact or perhaps i have lost something...does anyone have a diagram or pic of what the bottom hose should look like? As far as i can see theres a metal tube inside the pipe and a rubber seal around that...my question is does it just PUSH into radiator? Nothing to tighten it in? Also wondering if its best done from under or above? Am half way up a mountain but have a tool box...thanks

I can't believe no-one has replied to your post, you've probably sorted it by now, ( I hope so for your sake ), the hoses are a bayonet fitting, like a lightbulb, so you push & turn to the right to lock in place, little bit tricky, twist the hose anti-clockwise, then push into radiator & turn clockwise, & it's easier doing from underneath, van on axle stands, laying on your back, breast of duck.
