You could have a few problems going on there but you are not going to know until you have got a diag done.
you need to find some kind of independent Citroen specialist ideally. The 1.4 do seem to suffer from injector problems but i doubt the immobiliser problem is anything to do with that.

Basically, your light tells you that the transponder in the key is not always recognised by the car's ecu. The two components need to recognise each other each time you put the key in, so you may have an eis fault, but until you get the codes read - a good Indie or Citroen dealer will do this for you - you won't get much further.
If you just bought the car from a car dealer, then take it back and tell them to sort it. If you bought it privately, then the advice above is the way forward.

hi Gravity yes just the one key must be dead as the key doesn't do anything other than fit the locks no central locking etc, just don't want to bin a load of brass into it and get deeper in debt hopefully I van get good firm round to diagnostic test it
