Central locking - deadlocking causes it to unlock and closing it locks

With everything unlocked
If I open and close the passenger side sliding door - it locks itself (just that door)

With everything unlocked - if I single tap the lock fob or use the key - everything locks

With everything unlocked - if i double tap lock for deadlock - all doors locked except the passenger sliding door which unlocks with the outside handle

Internal lock doors button does lock all the doors (but not deadlocked)

Before i start swearing and dismantling things - by one got any ideas ?

Probably worth trying a BSI reset, as virtually everything controlled through there. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully for the reset procedure though.

If a reset doesn't cure it you may need to start checking the wiring for short circuits/chafes and I'd probably start with your sliding door that locks itself.

A bsi reset won’t fix everything! And definitely not this, I’d suspect the door catch itself or a wiring fault in the door or the contacts themselves

Tried the bsi reset - no joy - but that was a long shot

Was about to start removing the door panel when the heavens opened - I then noticed that both side rear seat belts had worn through completely where they come through the plastic trim!

Not a great start to the year
