All manner of issues happened all of a sudden! Help!

Car in question is a 2003 berlingo 1.9 diesel (non turbo)

Driving back from work today when all of a sudden engine felt lumpy, engine management light came on along with the battery light and brake light on the dash, Rev counter wasn’t working either.
I was around half a mile from home so limped it back.
After pulling up noticed more smoke than normal. Popped the bonnet and looked for the obvious but everything looks normal apart from the engine shaking due to the misfire.

Couple hours later I needed to move it to get the car off and noticed I’ve also lost headlights (dash illuminates but no main beam) and also wipers have stopped working and heater blower!
So to sum it up in one swoop I’ve got....
Misfire
No rev counter
Management light on
Battery light on
Brake warning light on
Smoking engine
No headlights
No wipers
No heater

It’s like the feed for all these components above has gone, is there a main relay or if you have any ideas it will be much appreciated.
All fuses have been checked and fine....

Hi Lee and welcome to the forum.

Ive seen the thread on the Citroen forum so i wont go over things already mentioned.

Im not sure if a 2003 Berlingo has a BSI or its year of manufacture is to early? - i mention this because your problems ive seen before with a corroded BSI.

If it is BSI related you need to decide how much the vehicle is worth to you because repair can be expensive and complicated.

But the misfire would not be BSI related anyway so you may have multiple problems?

The berlingo is 53plate if that helps.

Just been reading up about the BSI and familiarising myself with it however you mentioned the BSI wouldn’t cause the engine to run lumpy.
I’m stumped!

van Was running spot on before, all these issues came all at once.

You may have had wiring chafing somewhere for a while and its just burnt though or shorted out i would be checking the wiring harness throughout the vehicle as a start.
