I bought one of these for my Berlingo, only want temp fit du
e to size ( cannot hide it in hot times.

To try it put it in my 4x4mt conservatory (3ft off ground with decking floor, exhaust throw wooden ajar door) tempraure out side 3deg, inside was 19 on full heat, used 1/2 gallon in 12 hours (set at 35 deg, 5deg outside set at 17 a gallon lasted 2 days.

Only fault was when filling up diesel smell.

Any idea what the electrical usage is please, and does this mean it needs a separate leisure battery?

Aprrox 2amp hour, but start up is higher due to heater plug. Uou could run it off car battery, but forget it and you will get a flat barrery, Although they need (stated) 11.6-13 volts to run, it will keep yummimg till 10.5 voly (stated on (Youtube) this will take the battery past being able to recharge and hold it. But saying that I ran mine for 10 hours on a 40amp battery, but it took it to 11.3 volt.

Hope that helps. I would fit lesure battery, but get one and try before fitting it in.

Have you used it in your Berlingo yet? If so  how did you vent the exhaust? Cheers, Dave

I have the same query. Could really have done with one of these over the last few nights but I can't see where I would fit a leisure battery or where the heater exhaust would vent.
