Touch Screen Temperature Display
#1
Lightbulb
I seem to have a random temperature gauge on the touch screen display which sometimes works but most of the time reports anywhere from -30 degrees C to +40 degrees C.

I've tried multiple resets of the touch screen display unit without success.

Any ideas or is it simply most likely to be a broken temperature sensor?

Sure, I should just sent it in to the garage but none of this is not worth the messing around for just the temperature display and it can wait until a service is due.

Yes likely to be the sensor, which is normally on the underside of the offside mirror, looks like a tear drop. Mine went in both my M59 Berlingo and the present B9 Berlingo. One time I had silly readings [like you are getting, although mine were +75C etc and on the other occasion the display just went to dashes] I remember when I purchased a replacement to wire in [they are hard wired, so need to be spliced in] that my local dealer stated, these don't go wrong very often, guess I'm just unlucky then  Wink

The sensor is basically just a thermistor [which is a temperature sensitive resistor]
