Have just bought a 2010 1.6 hdi extra with 40 000 on the clock, don't think the timing belt has been changed, when should it be replaced please

I think is 150k ish or 10 years but i would not go beyond 100k personally - not because there have been problems but just because i like to play on the safe side.

As Polar.
Citroen state as above - 150k or 10 years. They obviously have confidence that the belt will last that long, or they would have recommended a shorter period.

I don't share that confidence, but that's just my take.
100k is max for me.
