Dw8 fuel filter

Hey guys I've got the trusty dw8 lump n my berlingo but not be been having issues with the fuel fillter and air in the system I've replaced the housing filter and leak off pipes for brand new parts can't work out where the air is getting in is there any common places changed all the leak off pipes even with them blanked it still does it from time to time but not as often

I am not sure I would agree about trusty lump. The new fuel filter is always causing problems in compared to the old one. I did note that it must be done up quite tight or air gets in also a chap in Manchester fitted a none return valve on the line to the pump which helped with the air coming back. the French think this engine is full of problems. I would also agree. Have you managed to fix the problem and how did you achieve it.
