hi everyone,
i am looking for advice please. i am seriously considering buying a new berlingo enterprise 100ps blue hdi 1.6, the spec looks good, air con, e/w/ etc. i really like the look of the van.
i know very little about this vans reliability etc, could you help me please. are there any common faults? would you buy this van? service intervals ?
oh, and the cheapest place i have seen it is pure vans online, £9895 plus vat. is there anywhere cheaper.
many thanks in advance.

Put clutch down noise goes away, lift clutch up noise comes back, its not very loud so listen for it,I paid £9450 plus vat,17,plate 100 PS,850 kg,at evens halshaw,

Which Evans halshaw please?
Only 19 miles then trouble, that concerns me slightly. Has it been ok since please.
Is this common.
I drive a vw caddy now, it hasn’t needed a thing doing to it. Put the prices are too high.
Hence why I’m looking at berlingos.
Cheers

No common faults really you always get the odd one with problems no matter what badge you select. Some of the guys on here have 400k miles + with no problems.
I looked at VW and i thought the Berlingo was better and a hell of a lot cheaper - ive had mine 10 years now.

Most Berlingos are ok. I had my last one for 8yr/80k miles with few probs. Nothing major. Serviced once a yr at Cit garage. It’s probably as good a van as any. New model out this yr apparantly so should be good deals on current model. Current model uses Adblue. 17litre tank so pour in a 10litre container about every now & then.

Just purchased 2008 berlingo van. Clutch is heavy and seems to have sideways movement when used. Any ideas,?
