Hey guys my berlino multispace has developed a problem with the Interior lights they dont go off if in the door position I've taken both switches out the a pilla but neither had wires attached and if I switch my rear wiper on the light go off until its finished its cycle then they come back on I've checked the wires in the boot and all seems ok any ideas would be great thanks

The interior lights come on when the door is opened , the wire that should be on, the switches earth the lamps so they come on . When the door is shut the switch earth is broken so they go off.
If the wire is earthing in the pillar then the lights will/should come on all the time.
The wires between the doors and the body can break after time because the bending they get with the doors being opened and shut, see if the wires are OK especially in the rear door.
Bad connections and wires touching each other or broken can cause weird things to happen

I'm sorry I can't help, but that is a bit weird, and I ain't new to vehicle electrics (well, a bit new to French electrics).
