Is it possible to fit a used abs axle onto my non abs berlingo?
I need to change my rear axle and have sourced a good used one locally but it has abs. Mine is non abs. Can the load sensing valve be swapped over? What's the difference except from not needing to have the sensor wired up?

I would imagine it would just be a case of transferring your load sensing valve to the New ABS axle, I'm pretty sure all axles are more or less he same and it will fit somewhere, and then just forget about the ABS stuff.

So, I managed to source a good used non abs complete axle for £90, but it took some finding. Not many left to fit a 2004 berlingo.
I intended to do it my self but couldn't find the time so managed to find a very good local citroen indie to do the job for £200, (5 hours labour) so happy with that.
Anyone in Durham, Teesside area, I'd recommend JT Autotech in Darlington, knows his Citroens.
