Modified smart navigation setup

Well I was sick of smart navigation. Load of sh#t. So as the current cable doesn't fit anything I own and buying an adapter failed on 2 occasions. Ie didn't fit still. I decided to splice in a, USB 3 cable to the existing cable. It is all very neat although the pictures may not show it. Main thing is it all works and charges.

This existing smartnav cable doesn't fit anything. So I cut it. Spiced in a USB micro lead and hey presto. Can now my tomtom, phone etc. All using the exciting setup as my cigarette little has my dash cam

The smart nav system included is terrible and if it wasn't for mine being on a lease I'd do the same.

I still wish they'd just used the main screen for Sat Nav and got a tracking system from another company that doesn't push that s**t Nav system.

I look at changing that unit. My local dealer say its not possible on that model yet. Would cost over 600 too. Just bit worth it. Glad i did this little mod. Does make a huge difference. Charges well too
